Community-Based Wildfire & Prescribed Fire Training

The Truckee River Prescribed Burn Association supports wildfire resilience through watershed-focused land stewardship, prescribed fire education, and hands-on field training opportunities.

Our training programs help landowners, volunteers, and fire practitioners build practical skills, gain real-world prescribed fire experience, and strengthen local community fire capacity throughout the Truckee River region.

S-130 Skills Days (FREE For All Local PBA Members)

S-130 Skills Days is a 2-day hands-on field training designed to reinforce essential wildland firefighter skills through practical exercises and live demonstrations.
